Day 01: Arrive Bodhgaya On arrival at Gaya International Airport, you will be met by our company representatives and we drive to Bodhgaya (12 km - ½ hour). Arrive Bodhgaya and check into the Hotel. Day 02: Bodhgaya - Rajgir - Nalanda - Patna After breakfast at hotel, we drive to Patna visiting Rajgir and Nalanda, enroute. Rajgir, also known as Rajgriha (the House of Royalty), is one of the most important Buddhist destinations of the world. The Buddha spent many years in Rajgir and delivered some of the most important discourses here. In Rajgir, visit the Gridhkut Hill and Vishwa Shanti Stupa among other attractions. After lunch, we drive to Nalanda, famous for its ancient 5th century AD Buddhist University and Library. It was the first residential international university of the world with strength of 2,000 teachers and 10,000 monks students from all over the Buddhist world. In Nalanda, visit the ruins of Nalanda University and Nalanda Archaeological Museum. Then, we continue drive to Patna. Arrive at Patna and check into the Hotel and relax. Day 03: Patna - Vaishali - Kushinagar After breakfast at hotel, we drive to Kushinagar visiting Vaishali, enroute. Vaishali was one of the important Buddhist destinations in ancient India. The Buddha preached his last sermon and proclaimed of his Parinirvana, near Vaishali. It was the venue of the 2nd Buddhist Council, which was held almost after 100 years of Buddha s parinirvana (passing away). In Vaishali, visit the Ashokan Pillar and Shanti Stupa. Day 04: Kushinagar - Lumbini After breakfast at hotel, visit Mahapari Nirvana Temple and Ramabhar Stupa. Thereafter, we proceed to Lumbini by surface. Arrive at Lumbini and check into the Hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Sacred Garden the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Day 07: Varanasi - Bodhgaya Early morning visit to lively Ghats of the Ganges to enjoy the breathtaking view of the sunrise and rituals performed by thousands, on its banks. Enjoy an unforgettable boat cruise on the Ganges, indeed a wonderful experience. Return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, we drive to Sarnath, where the Buddha preached his first sermon. Sarnath is an important site of the Buddhist Circuit. In Sarnath, visit the Dhamek Stupa, Sarnath Museum and the Ashokan Pillar.Later, we proceed to Bodhgaya by road (240 km- 6hrs).
