Belvedere from Italian for "fair view" or "beautiful sight" - is an architectural structure sited to take advantage of a fine or scenic view. Belvedere once the summer palace of the erstwhile Rajas of Awagarh – is reminiscent of the bygone days of the Raj Era built nearly a century ago by Raja Balwant Singh OBE, CIE of Awagarh in the year 1897.
