About Hotel Rotana
Hotel Rotana is a budget hotel which is located near the Dal Gate. The Srinagar Railway station is 17 km away, while the Iqbal colony bus stand is at a distance of 2 km. The Sheikh-ul- Alam Airport is at a distance of 15 km and children up to the age of 5 years are allowed to stay free in the hotel accompanied by parents or wards. While smoking is allowed inside the rooms, liquor is not permitted. The hotel allows early check in and late checkouts. It has 24 hour power back and it also provides hot and cold water round the clock as per the requirement. A safe is provided both at the reception and in the rooms for keeping the valuables. Among the areas of interest, apart from the Dal Lake that one can go to, is the Shankarachrya Reserve forest which is near-by and taxis area available from the local taxi stand for a visit. Kashmiri Silk is famous and one can have a view of it in the various units located on the Silk Road.
