Day 01: Delhi - Agra - Jaipur (205 Kms and 4-5 hours drive - one way)

We will pick you from your place in Delhi for a early morning drive to Agra which lies about 4 hours drive away from Delhi, the city of Commonwealth games 2010. Situated on the banks of river Yamuna, Agra the erstwhile capital of Mughals in India. Mughals used Agra as their capital from the year 1526 to 1628 and today it is one of the mostly visited cities in India tour map, due to its splendid Mughal architecture in the monuments.

No sooner you reach the Agra city your tour will start with the visit to Taj Mahal. (Taj Mahal remains closed on Friday). Located on the bank of the river Yamuna, the gorgeous Taj Mahal is the symbol of eternal love carved in the stones by Mughal emperor Shahjaha in 1631 for his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal.Taj Mahal complex took 22 years to be completed.

Later after visiting Taj Mahal we will take you to two another famous and interesting monuments namely Agra Fort and Sikandra Fort. Built from red sand stones, the Agra fort is more accurately described as a walled city. It was the place where emperor Shahjaha was kept in the prison by his third son Aurangzeb. Now we move to Sikandra Fort which is known as the tomb of Mughal emperor Akbar. Constructed by his son Jahangir in the year 1613.

After finishing the sightseeing tour of Agra we drive to Jaipur. Check into hotel Jaipur in late evening. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 02: Jaipur – Delhi

Early morning after lavish breakfast excursion to majestic Amber Fort which is a perfect combination of Hindu and Mughal architecture. The elephant ride is an overwhelming experience to ascend the fort situated atop the hill. In the afternoon visit City Palace which now houses a museum, displaying some of the treasures of the wealthiest rulers of Rajasthan, but the greatest part of it is still a royal residence. Further we visit Jantar Mantar literally meaning calculation instrument is famous for being the largest stone observatory in the world that give accurate predictions till date. Also visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), a five storied structure of pink sandstone was built by Maharaja Pratap Singh in 1799 and used by royal ladies to see the outside world.

In late afternoon the time has come to drive back to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and you will be transferred to the Hotel / City Center / Airport as per your further plans.
