Day 01 : Delhi – Pangot (320kms/7-8Hrs)Arrive Delhi, proceed to Pangot (Near Nainital). This is a small village which lies in the north-western range of Nainital. While taking excellent birding tour at Pangot, you will see a wide range of Himalayan bird species such as Himalayan Griffon,Lammergeier, Blue Winged Minla, Spotted and Slaty-Backed Fork tail, Khalij Pheasant, Rufous-Bellied Woodpecker, and many others. Day 02 : Pangot (Nainital Excursion)After breakfast, Full day is at leisure to explore the hill retreat of Nainital. Day 03 : Pangot– Binsar (115kms/3hrs)After Breakfast, drive to Binsar - A small town in the state of Uttarakhand and is located amidst dense green forests. It is famous for the Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary. Located on the Jhandi Dhar hills of Kumaon. The place is known for its greenery and is surrounded by virgin forests of oak, rhododendron, pine and deodar all around. The main attraction of the town of Binsar is the wildlife sanctuary. The sanctuary covers an area of 45.59 sq km and has a wide variety of flora and fauna residing in. Day 05 : Binsar - Corbett (160kms)After Breakfast, drive to Corbett. Day 06 : Corbett - Lansdowne (130kms)Early morning you can enjoy safari (At additional cost) inside the Wildlife Sanctuary for your tryst with the big cats. Elephants are also available fordense jungle safaris on a first come first serve basis. Those interested in angling can try hooking the mahseer fish for sport. Birding treks and horse safaris are also exciting options for the enthusiasts. Later drive to Lansdowne, located in the Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand, 44 kilometers from Kotdwar.
